Autumn 2017 Course Update

Thank you so much to everyone who has already signed up for one of my courses and helped spread the word, I really appreciate it.

I am very excited to get started with my new course in Malahide on Thursday and the rest of my courses next week. The UCD course on The Grand Tour is full but there are a few places left on the others, please email me as soon as possible if you would like to sign up. The Irish Art 1970-2000 course will be taking place in the Rochestown Lodge, Dun Laoghaire, please let me know if you need directions.

I will be giving free public tours in the National Gallery from 6 pm on Culture Night, Friday September 22, do drop in if you have not yet been in to see the reopened galleries in all their glory plus it should be a fun night to go into town, there is so much on. I will also be giving some public lectures in both the National Gallery and the Hugh Lane over the next couple of months, I will send out all the information relating to this very soon.

It looks like the trip to London will go ahead on Jan 16, 17, 18. The cost for the three days of tours (this includes entrance fees) is €200 per person. Please confirm by email that you will be coming and please pay by cheque or bank transfer by Friday 20th October. Unfortunately I cannot organise flights and accommodation for everyone but I can certainly give suggestions and pair people who want to share or stay in the same hotel.

In the Spring and Summer terms 2018 I am hoping to run courses on the Italian Renaissance followed by a trip to Florence and maybe Rome, I will keep you posted.
